Gujarat National Law University,
Gandhinagar conducted Two Days Workshop on Case Method Teaching for faculty and
research scholars on July 28-29, 2018. As per information received from Dr.
Kalpeshkumar L Gupta, Assistant Professor – Research and Coordinator of the
Workshop, this kind of workshop is generally conducted by IIMs and Tier 1
Management institutions but GNLU pioneered in conducting this. The resource
person for the workshop was Prof. M R Dixit, Former Professor in Business
Policy Area, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. The workshop was highly
enriching in the sense that it focused on various strategies to manage the
class and how to use case method effectively to enrich the engagement of
students in the class room discussion.
